DADDY LONGLEGS

This one really brought a tear to my eye..... very moving.

He noticed she was looking at two spiders mating.

'Daddy, what are those two spiders doing?' she asked.

'They're mating,' her father replied.

'What do you call the spider on top?' she asked.

'That's a Daddy Longlegs,' her father answered.

'So the other one is a Mummy Longlegs?' the little girl asked.

As his heart soared with the joy of such a cute and innocent question he replied, 'No dear. Both of them are Daddy Longlegs'.

'The little girl, looking a little puzzled, thought for a moment, then lifted her foot and stamped them flat...

'Well, we're not having any of that gay shit in our garden' she said.

Morning Motivation

When I woke up this morning lying in bed, I was asking myself;
What are some of the secrets of success in life?
I found the answer right there, in my very room.


AND NOT TO FORGET THE CARPET THAT SAID.......
KNEEL DOWN AND PRAY.

Carry a Heart that Never Hates.
Carry a Smile that Never Fades.
Carry a Touch that Never Hurts.

TIME IS PRECIOUS

A man came home from work late, tired and irritated, to find his 5-year old son waiting for him at the door.

SON : 'Daddy, may I ask you a question?'
DAD : 'Yeah sure, what it is?' replied the man.
SON : 'Daddy, how much do you make an hour?'
DAD : 'That's none of your business. Why do you ask such a thing?' The man said angily.
DAD : 'If you must know, I make $50 an hour.'
SON : 'Oh,' the little boy replied, with his head down.
SON : 'Daddy, may I borrow $25, please?

The father was furious, 'If the only reason you asked that is so you can borrow some money to buy a silly toy or some other nonsense, then you march yourself straight to your bed. Think about why you are being so selfish. I don't hard everyday for such childish frivolities.'

The little boy quietly went to his room and shut the door.

The man sat down and started to get even angier about about the little boy's questions. How dare he asked such questions only to get some money?

After about an hour or so, the man had calmed down, and started to think.

Maybe there was something he really needed to buy with that $25 and he really didn't ask for money very often. The man went to the door of the little boy's room and open the door.

'Are you asleep, son?' He asked.

'No daddy, I'm awake,' replied the boy.

I've been thinking, maybe I was too hard on you earlier' said the man. It's been a long day and I took out my aggravation on you. Here's the $25 you asked for.'

The little boy slowly counted out his money, and then look up at his father.

'Why do you want more money if you already have some?' the father grumbled.

'Because I didn't have eough, but now I do,' the little boy replied.

'Daddy, I have $50 now. Can I buy an hour of your time? Please come home early tomorrow. I would like to have dinner with you.'

The father was crushed. He put his arms around his little boy son, and he begged for his forgiveness.

It's just a short reminder to all of you working so hard in life. We should not let time slip through our fingers without having spent some time with those who really matter to us, those close to our hearts. Do remember to share that $50 worth of your time with someone you love.

If we die tomorrow, the company that we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of hours. But the family and friends we leave behind will feel the loss for the rest of their lives.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY

This philosophy is indeed very true when most of us are fathers or mothers

Here is a short story with a beautiful message...

A little girl and her father were crossing a bridge.

The father was kind of scared so he asked his little daughter, “Sweetie, please hold my hand so that you don’t fall into the river.

“No dad, you hold my hand” said the little girl. “What is the difference?” asked the puzzled father.

“There’s a big difference” replied the little girl
If I hold your hand and something happens to me, chances are that I may let your hand go, But if you hold my hand, I know for sure that no matter what happens, you will never let my hand go.

In any relationship, the essence of trust is not in its bind but in its bond.

So hold the hand of the person whom you love rather than expecting them to hold yours.
